Why tow Jenna Bush’s Secret Service van?
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009
BALTIMORE, MD - Former President George W. Bush might have been more embarrassed by the antics of daughter Jenna Bush during his term in office if only his own antics hadn’t so dwarfed his daughter’s awkward enthusiasms.
Among other fits of youthful exuberance, Jenna was busted for using a fake ID in a Texas bar. The arrest gave rise to widely held perceptions that her Secret Service detail’s most important function was as designated drivers.
So how are America’s streets going to be safe if some local traffic department goes and tows the Secret Service van assigned to the vivacious Miss Bush just because the vehicle could paper its windshield with unpaid parking tickets?
The vehicle was towed during a wedding in Baltimore, which is the town Jenna has settled in following her marriage.
Over at the Raw Story, they want to know why this technically unentitled daughter is entitled to Secret Service service in the first place.
