IMF: Financial crisis could lead to war

People will fight over this stuff.
GENEVA - Those alarmists over at the International Monetary Fund seem to think that money is the root of all conflict. According to a Reuters report, the world is in a ‘dire’ economic mess. The imbalance and insecurity could lead to civil unrest, war and even suburban ennui.
“All this [catastrophic fiscal irresponsibility] will affect dramatically unemployment. For many countries it will be at the roots of social unrest, some threat to democracy, and may be for some cases it can also end in war,”said IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
The IMF sees no solution in sight—not until the financial sector is cleaned up. And by cleaned up, they didn’t say bailed out.
