After 49 years, Les Folies Bergere calls it quits
LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas showgirl is an endangered species these days.

After a 49-year run at the Tropicana hotel and casino, the topless review “Les Folies Bergere” has packed up its feathers and g-strings and scattered to parts unknown.
This leaves only Bally’s “Jubilee!” as the topless showgirl revue on the Las Vegas Strip.
In recent years, showgirl reviews have fallen increasingly out-of-favor and have been replaced by “Cirque du Soleil” and similar shows.
