A person could do a lot with the $62 billion AIG lost

ATLANTA - Thank goodness for CNN’s Peter Wilkinson who put insurance monster AIG’s staggering $62 billion quarterly loss into some sort of perspective by crunching the numbers and giving readers a sort of Top 10 list of what that money actually represents.

For example, divided equally among America’s 303 million people, that’s $204 in everybody’s pocket.

Of course, AIG lost that money, so seen another way, that would be $204 we all could fork over to make up for that deficit.
